Alabama has a legit shot to do it with Yeldon and Lacy. Lacy needs 321 yards in the next four or five games while Yeldon needs 275 more yards to reach 1000.

Forget 1000 X 2...

USC almost had a 2,000 yard rusher AND a 1,000 yard rusher in 1978.

Charles White - 1,859
Lynn Cain - 977

Anyone know of a pair that has actually achieved the 2000/1000 double?

To rub salt into his wound:

Michigan did it last year.

Denard Robinson - 1,349 yards.
Fitzgerald Toussaint - 1,091 yards.

They also did it in 1975.
