Doubt anyone has had as bad an offseason as Clemson. I'm starting to get somewhat worried. We just had our 3rd player leave the team for personal reasons. We've now lost:

-Starting DT and LT left
-2nd string C and ILB left
-Starting SAM out for season with torn ACL
-2nd string CB broken hand, out a month or so
-2nd string WLB shoulder scope, out a month or so

WTF is going on?!?!

How's everyone else doing? Trying to get the updates that aren't in the preseason mags. Appreciate it! Back to drinking heavily now.

Ohio State, A-

Avoided major injury thus far, only four 1 game self imposed suspensions for four players.

Kansas would say hello but no one would hear them.

Our starting safety is missing a few games but will be fine and his backups are very good.

We lost a lot of DL depth to various things, but it appears that unit is playing ok. Can't have injury there or at MLB.

If our freshmen and Harris hadn't been doing so well, I'd say it was a bad offseason, but we appear to be primed for a good year.

Idk.

Wisconsin is in bad shape on offense. O line clobbered by injuries. Not what you want happening a week and a half before facing Alabama.

About as good as it gets...

-Tyner is the only serious injury and RB has depth
-Hegarty transferred in and looks good at center
-Adams looks like the man at qb
-corner questions are all but answered

I thought this would be a rebuild year after the season but we should compete.

Yeah, injuries have begun to mount for a unit that already had questionable depth prior to those injuries.

Stanford: A+

They haven't lost a single game this offseason.

Off-season for Auburn has gone well other than Duke Williams getting a humility lesson and having to miss 5-6 practices and come back at the bottom of the depth chart. He has now worked his way back up to 2nd string.

The only really nagging injury anyone has is Tray Matthews - DB. Pulled a hammy and it is still bothering him. The 3 players (Kozan- OL, Lawson- DE, Lambert- DE) that missed all of last year due to injury have all been 100% and I pray it stays that way.

What's going on? Starting LT failed another drug test and was going to be suspended. Injuries happen everywhere. At least some of these are minor and the players should return by the time Clemson gets in the meat of their schedule. Don't know who the 2nd string C who left is, unless he's the guy who returned in August and is doing well. Other than that, really the only WTH's are the LB and DL who just suddenly packed up and left without any prior warning.

Don't know all the specifics but they've lost 5-6 starters in the offseason for various reasons, and on top of that they only have like 59 scholarship players or something absurd like that. Not to mention their talent is horrid in the first place

59 is far too low. That seems almost unbelievable. TexAgs lists the scholarship breakdown at 79.

One of OSU's potential new WR starters went down with a very serious injury it sounds like. Some are saying broken leg, but EMT was called at 6:37 tonight

Get well Noah Brown

I'm not saying I don't know the reasons, but that's still some atrociously bad luck. Clemson's front seven was gonna be loaded again, now we lost our best DT, returning starter at SAM and backup at Will.

We also have a somewhat injury-prone QB and we lose the guy tasked to protect his blind-side? I know all the reasons, but fvck that shite is awful.
