Dorris Burke knows her shite

My objection doesn't relate to the fact that she is a woman but is based on the fact that most female commentators make blatantly obvious or stupid statements.

I like her too. She knows basketball, thats all I need. Dont care if its a male or female

I see people at Saints games sometimes listen to 870 on radio headphones during the game. I could never do that. My color commentator is the guy sitting next to me.

now back to the topic at hand. being AT a game, I wouldn't wanna listen to anything but the noises at the stadium. the only thing 870 would be useful for is updates on injuries, which, with twitter and smartphones, is becoming quickly obsolete. but when I'm at home, and there's a good commentator on, then I love to listen to hear what he or she has to say about the action. it creates an extra element to the game that just makes it more interesting.

Burke is the worst. She has a hard on for the Celtics and in top of that her comments are just dumb. "not his game" was a quote from her after Lavoy Allen missed a 12 footer. Lol it's an nba player taking a 12 foot jumper wide open. The other gem was "a shooter being hesitant is like a check swing in baseball." what?

Why do all of them have the deep man voice? I'm sure they exagerate ala Joe Buck but still. Do they think you can only do sports if you talk deep?
