I so badly wanted Van Gundy to say "not all of them work out as well as Golden State's decision" when talking about coaching changes, but I guess they can't bring that up.

Thibs seems like one of those coaches that can take a weak roster and have them overachieve every year, but doesn't know how to take a talented team to a championship level.

Yup. That's exactly what I think of him. I think Pels fans would love him for a few years, and then they would peak, and it wouldn't be pretty.

I think he'd be an obvious upgrade, but I kinda have similar thoughts. I think he immediately makes this a 50+ win team, but how would he do in he playoffs? Does having Davis give him that nudge into championship caliber? I don't want to waste a player like AD.
