Carmelo and his brand

Carmelo cares deeply about his 'brand.' He's not going to a small market like Charlotte.

Maybe the New Orleans Hornets will trade for him.

When's the last time you saw a team with a guy as "good" as melo supposedly is, be this fricking bad. That has to mean something about melo right? How can it not. I watch him play and it's like he just wants to get a shot up from as far away as possible and then wait on that end of the floor until the ball comes back to him so he can try to take a shot from even farther away to one up himself.

Would not want.

Bulls couldn't match the Knicks offer in the offseason, so not sure how that could work now.

To be fair, no team's max could match the Knicks offer. Only way to match their max would have been a sign and trade. With that said, I'm not sure I even want Melo on the Bulls now... but I think they could make it work. Butler looks to be a 15 million dollar player this upcoming off season. If they extend him now and add Gibson, they could make it work if they really wanted to I think. I'm not so sure I'd do it though.

I really don't know if teams are going to be lining up to go after him.

The teams that went after him this summer have filled their holes.

Would Dallas or Houston go after him?

You'd think by now teams would realize that he's a team killer. But there's going to be some team that will jettison their decent, unselfish players for him.

Who would trade for his ridiculous salary? The Lakers?

Especially considering the fact that he needs a possible season-ending surgery.

I doubt he's moved. They'll find some pieces to surround him next summer which was always the plan anyways.

A trade to a contender would be a financial boon to Anthony as he has a trade kicker attached to his contract that is worth 15 percent of the remaining value at the time of the deal. That kicker was put in place by Anthony’s handlers to deter teams from approaching the Knicks about Anthony. He would receive a lump-sum payment of roughly $17.5 million if he is traded Monday. “He thought things would be better than this, but he still wants to stick it out for now, ’’ a source said. “He trusts Phil, but I think he’s afraid of Phil.’’ New York Post

Lakers have to make it happen

Then tank the season to ensure top 5 pick

Then maybe they wont suck for the next 10years

It's telling that winning was important enough to Lebron that he was willing to go to Miami for less money than Cleveland would have paid him, while Carmelo chose to stay in New York because he would have made less money if he had left.

Care to share which team you don't agree with consider all of them were trying to get Melo a couple months ago sans the Hornets because they knew he wouldn't sign there.
