Haha agree, he really has been filthy. Sorry y'all I'm officially on the birds bandwagon. So sick of losing, this chiefs and mizzou season has officially made me support the cards.

Welcome aboard. FWIW I have never bought into the KC/STL rivalry thing and have always pulled for the KC teams.

Ya I came to the conclusion the reason most kc fans hate the birds is pure jealously, and I'm a Missouri first guy so I have no problem supporting my home state! And Killz was somewhat right there are far too many beaks at royals games!

They actually just talked about how only one other pitcher in the majors threw more fastballs. This guy is a sinkerball pitcher who has to keep it down in the zone. As he fatigues, he'll elevate the ball. So we need to battle early and often, even if we don't get runs early and often.

I forgive ya. I love Missouri teams, but I can't stand beakers. Can't fricking stand them.

Yea, Im still a Chiefs fan myself. Adopted them when the Cardinals moved to ARizona. Love the Rams but Cheifs are a solid #2 for me.

Hey I hear ya, i was wearing my mizzou tie to work today and I almost knocked a beaker out for just opening his mouth. But then I came to my senses and decided it'd be in bad taste to knock out the janitor.

Edit: nice inning by lohse!

Yeah, and I don't know if the TNT broadcasters mentioned if that's how you're experiencing the game. I'm listening on ESPN radio. But yeah, Detweiller throws fastballs about 80% of the time apparently.
