If he comes out this year, I could see him going in round 2.
IMO he has the best physical tools of any QB I have seen in college football this year

If by round 2 you mean, 1st overall

Detillier tweeted 1st round FWIW

Not a big enough sample size, he will have to come back.

Nope. He will be a beast at the combine, and teams will love him.

No one will take him in the first two rounds

He seems like a decent guy with a good head on his shoulders too.

This.
3 games man. That's it.
And yes he's looked great in those 3 games. But he was 3rd string for a reason, and behind a RS freshman.
And he might even be the backup next year to Barrett as well.

What was the reason?

Ask Urban Meyer...
And go look at Barrets #s.

So you think he can bulldoze NFL d-linemen like that? Right

I'm sure pro teams looking to draft him will ask.

yeah because the 2 in front of him were conference POY good. It's not like he was behind jennings or someone

Cardale is a better QB prospect than Barrett even though Barrett may be a better QB in Urbans system

Will be the 4th QB taken. Won't go past pick 20. He will go pro

Yes no shite...
But the OP said he would be a 2nd rounder. He was a 3rd string QB who has started all of 3 games.
And he's been aweosme in those 3 games. Not sayin he's not good. But it's too small a sample size to draft him in the 2nd round.

I would take him as a guy to develop for 3 years behind a veteran. Late 1st or 2nd

I'm bookmarking your post. If Jones enters the draft, he will go 2nd round for sure. Maybe first.

Yep teams with ageing stars will be looking hard at him.
