Seriously, I know we live in a PC world but there's not a woman on this planet who I could talk football with.
And I consider myself a casual fan
When I watch football with my wife she just wants to talk about AUBIE the dancing tiger

Ask a mom with sons who play at the HS level or above. A lot of them are very knowedgable. Not all, but a lot.

My wife falls inbetween those too. She has a decent grasp on football knowledge, and enjoys watching it, but doesn't know everything a fan with a high football IQ would know. I have to point something out to her 4 or 5 times a game, either regarding a rule or what happened on a specific play.
She knows it far better than my uncle, who has been watching football longer than she has been alive.

Mine knows the difference between the pistol and shotgun formation and can easily pickup on man to man vs. safety help over the top.
