VY 05. 3000/1000.
not this shite again
Why not? It is still the greatest season I have ever seen.
VY never had a game like Cam had against Miss. State, for example. He dominated at all times.

481 for 4137. . .8.6 per play
TD per 12.66 plays.
In case you were wondering.

Nobody was even impressed with Randy Moss's stats I posted on page 3?
How does he always slip out of the conversations with those numbers?

Moss was unstoppable, but he was also a Hall of Fame talent paired with a a future NFL QB playing against shite competition, so the numbers are skewed.
He would have been elite anywhere, but ranking that season at Marshall with the likes of Newton, Young and Sanders is like saying Boise St. deserves MNC discussion as a one loss team (if AU and UO weren't undefeated).

I don't care about that at all.........numbers are skewed my arse.........No one could cover Randy Moss in college football and up until probably 2008 in the NFL.
He was the dominant player at his position just like Barry Sanders was at OSU.

I would have to whip out Steve McNair, though, if we are going the 1-AA route.
4863 passing. . .936 rushing in 1994. 3rd in Heisman voting in 1-AA
LINK
Search McNair

why does Cam have 10 more TDs than VY with a game to play still?
Big 12 Defenses are a joke. THat has been proven yearly for the last 10 years.

And Young had shite games against Okie State, until the 4th quarter and the Cowboys were worn out.

VY was done by the mid or early 3rd qtr in all but 3 games. To hit 3000/1000 while playing the equivalent of about 9 games is insane.
