Cam Newton had the best game yesterday of any QB this entire season

Per the grading at Pro Football Focus.

The MVP is becoming a lock. An undefeated season and Super Bowl win on top of that would cause maximum rustle of which the MSB hasn't seen.

He missed on a couple of open deep balls and had an INT

Not sure how that could have been graded as the best game this season

Would the MSB be rustled?

I think everyone can acknowledge that Cam is the MVP for this season so far.

Is he best player in the NFL? Probably not, but he is definitely the most valuable if you look at the rest of the Panther's roster. He is carrying them on his back.

The combined QB rating of QBs against the Saints this year is higher than Tom Brady's passer rating this season.

So there's that.

Is Cam Newton the only QB to play the Saints or any other bad pass defense this year?

Nearly every QB has destroyed the Saints.

Palmer 122.8
Winston 114.6
Newton 119.7
Weeden 105.6
Bradford 88.5
Ryan 102.0
Luck 81.0
Manning 138.2
Mariota 135.7
Cousins 158.3
Hoyer 107.6
Newton 122.1

116.3 average QB rating

Also, PFF lost a bunch of credibility in my book after giving Rodgers a negative grade in a 5 TD performance.

Having this cocky SOB dab all over the '72 Dolphins record would be sweet in a way.

I love Cam, and I agree that he's in the lead for MVP. However, this notion that he's carrying the team on his back is a bit absurd. They have a good running game and an awesome defense.

Cam was 28/41 for 5 TDs and an INT for 331 yards.

Kirk Cousins had a game against the Saints where he 20/25 for 4 TDs and 0 INT for 324 yards.

Cousins's game was a clearly better game, so fail by PFF.

They are pushing the narrative. Cam is the MVP of course, but they are trying to make it a reality.

He literally missed at least 3 TD's running wide open down the field. I dont see how that's possible.

If he would have anything beyond mediocre numbers I think you'd have alot more people say that he would be deserving. We seriously need to get away from giving the MVP to the QB of the best team every year.

Their running game isn't that good. Cam makes that offense go and he is their rz offense

Ginn dropped 2 easy TD's on deep balls. Like, throws you would have caught.

like I said before, what he did yesterday was good for padding his stats but it wasn't any different from what other QB's have done to the Saints this year.

Kirk Cousins shredded the Saints a few weeks ago. That's all you need to know really.

most of the big pass plays he hit yesterday the WR's were wide open. Any competent QB could've made those throws.

Every single week the qb going against the Saints defense does this. Kirk Cousins would be MVP if we only looked at quarterback's performances against the Saints.
