Cam was supposed to block for himself during the game also I assume.
The Oline's lack of play does not absolve Cam's lack of effort during the game-sealing fumble OR his lack of maturity in post-game interviews.
Your efforts at straw men are about as successful as Cam's effort going after fumbles and in dealing with a huge loss gracefully.

He clearly puts the loss on his shoulders. Different players bear burdens differently. Cam Newton is the kind to close up and lock themselves up. He will probably be sitting in a dark room watching the game over and over for the next week.
He didn't make any excuses in his postgame. Basically said that Denver outplayed them and there's really nothing more to it.

Once the reporter asked him about avoiding the fumble, he looked embarrassed and said he didn't know what he was thinking not giung after it.
20 seconds later, after one more one-word answer, he got up & was ghost.

He's classless and selfish in every since of the words. I despise Newton with the best of them and those still wanting to defend him, why? It's the biggest game of your life and you don't even try to dive for the ball? Especially in your own territory? If I'm a player on Carolina I'd have no respect for him for not going after that ball and trying to help. Obviously he made a business decision instead of leaving it all out on the field.

Deion and Faulk are eating him alive right now
Thank goodness. Those may be the only two individuals allowed to point out the obvious.

Maybe he didn't win because of the Vast White Wing Conspiracy.

He's a fraud! True character is revealed when you face adversity

He did when Anderson ran over his lily white arse at the goal line.
Its funny how race is always brought into it. Shows the intelligence of a individual.
