Jordan had the GOAT supporting cast you put Barkley, Malone, Stockton or Robinson with Phil Pippen and Grant/Rodman instead of Jordan I bet they all would of won a bunch of rings while Jordan won none. And Jordan would still be better than them but it just goes to show that you don't win championships without help.

2011 Cavs without Lebron 61 wins to 19
2005 Lakers without Shaq 56 wins to 34
1997 Magic without Shaq 60 wins to 45
1992 Lakers without Magic 58 wins to 43
2001 Pistons without Hill 42 wins to 32
2012 Hornets without CP3 46 wins to 21
1989 Celtics without Bird 57 wins to 42
1979 Blazers without Walton 58 wins to 45
2002 Suns without Kidd 51 wins to 36
1970 Celtics without Russell 48 wins to 34

and on and on every time a prime or near prime HOFer has left a good/decent team, and didn't replace him with a HOFer the team has gotten way worse. The only exception I see is Jordan who had the best supporting cast in history

Look what sports are doing to us. It's an unhealthy argument that won't get anywhere. Leave Lebron alone till he retires. My god no one was talking about Jordan's legacy like this after his first championship. As of right now its clearly Jordan. When Lebron wins 6 then come back to discuss this until then let the kid finish his fricking career. Smh.

My take is if Steve Kerr or BJ Armstrong or Horris Grant and players like that played for any other team you would have never heard about them. Jordan made them better. So saying Jordan had the best supporting cast in history has a lot to do with Jordan making them better.

Also luke fricking longley was his center. He averaged 7 points a game a 4 rebounds.

Arstrong and Grant were good enough to win 55 games without Jordan

The Knicks were a number 2 seed and won 54 games this year. Times are different

Not if the only argument some people are willing to use is championships.

If Bosh was willing to go to Cleveland, LeBron would still be there.

We are just talking Lebron and Michael. Y'all are complicating this thread for no reason

since when does number of titles signify greatness though? so if LeBron wins one more title than Jordan did that means he is the definitive GOAT?

So when someone proves lebron is better they are trolling now?

Nobody will ever be able to prove which one of these two guys were better.

It's called common sense and watching basketball. This isn't an argument till Lebron retires. It's stupid to argue about it now.
