Aside from Marcell Dareus and Dont'a Hightower, I can't think of once badass NFL defender from Bama.
Dre Kirkpatrick, Milliner, McClain, Barron, Upshaw are all busts. I'm sure there's more.

He's a bust because he tore his ACL? I hate Bama just as much as the next guy but come on.
And they have great players in the league like CJ Mosley, Donta Hightower, Julio Jones, Andre Smith, Rashad Johnson, Marcel Dareus, Mark Ingram is on track now, Amari Cooper had an amazing rookie season. And Eddie Lacy will return to being dominant now that he has finally cut all the bad weight.

its become like the USC "bust" label people would throw out there despite evidence to the contrary. If you put as many guys in the league as these programs are, you're going to have more busts than others as well.
