I know he technically walked to the box, but if you can't see it was a "ok, mr ump, here you go.......I'm in the box, there's my toe, I'm in the box", then I can't help you.

Harper too made a great argument after the game that the ump, as he was yelling at Harper to get in the box, did not have his mask on and that would have resulted in an equipment violation.. I guess it still could. Seriously that ump needs to be put in his place by the league real quick.

He shouldnt need "help".
If the ump doesnt take his mask off and start jawing with the dugout then none of this happens. Ump was about as unprofessional as you could be.

And if you think that's an acceptable reason to be thrown out of a game you probably have the same little man syndrome as the umpire.

I'd hate to see the game you guys want where the stars are allowed to do and say whatever in spite of the umps, the people hired to control the game and move it along.
It's obvious it wasn't just one thing that got Harper ejected. The ump probably got too hot in the head as well, but demz the rules: he wears the crown. Push back is going to happen. All of this "Hudson needs to be put in his place" talk is laughable. Unless he's a repeat offender, then get over it.

Look, I tell my daughter to put her dirty clothes away, and after some push back, she grabs them, stomps to the hamper, stares me down, and slams them in the general area. Yes, she technically did what I asked her to, but it won't fly.
It seems kind of dumb in an adult baseball game, but you have to know you're playing with fire when mocking the ump like that. He can't let that stand.
Again, that's not the one thing that got him ejected, but that's my point when I say he didn't necessarily comply with the ump.

Again, if this ump has a reputation like Hernandez, then I'll think differently of this. Sucks that Harper got tossed, but it's not a huge deal.

We get that you hate Harper as well. Harper did not act like an idiot. We have an umpire that wanted to be the star of the show so he acts like a big baby and gets into it with one of the biggest stars of the game
