According to Ian Rapaport, the deal would come out 6-114.5 , 59 million guaranteed fully and 70 million + in overall guarantees

I hate paying any player that much, especially when he isn't a franchise quarterback. It could potentially crippled a roster in the future.

After the NBAs offseason, all these football contracts just sound like chump change

If there's any player that deserves it, it's Von Miller. Imagine his stat line had he not torn his ACL or missed games secondary to suspension. He's a top 3 pass rusher in the league and he likely would've gotten more next off-season.

Poor Oakland is going to have to pay Khalil Mack even more. That's crazy to think.

Who is Denver's starting QB for next year? I honestly cannot remember.

Mark Sanchez until Paxton Lynch takes over, IMO.

Gary Kubiak has worked wonders with Matt Shaub, Jake Plummer and Joe Flacco (best season in 2014) in the past, so I have confidence he can turn either choice into a non-liability.

YES!! My favorite Bronco since Champ Bailey retired. Sucks it's a ton of money but it is what it is. I can't blame the guys, he's incredible at what he does.

Theres a piece by PFT that suggests all these reports are another attempt by the Broncos to strong arm Von Miller into accepting a deal, which if so would piss him off. Its a lot of guesswork but the whole reports of him "expected to accept the deal" framework is sorta sketchy

Conversely, imagine his stat line if he wasn't allowed to dope.

holy shite people quit comparing it to the nba! The nfl teams have to pay 53 men on the roster, nba only to pay 12-13. Money isnt spread out near as much in the nba! Stop the comparisons. Apples to oranges
