In his 10 years as a Saint:

- Lead the league in yards in 6 of those seasons.
- Lead the league in yards/game in 5 seasons.
- Lead the league in Touchdowns in 4 seasons.
- Lead the league in completion %age in 3 seasons.
- Lead the league in attempts in 3 seasons.
- Lead the league in completions in 4 seasons.

In this 10 year stretch he has the most yards and most TDs of any QB in the league. When all said and done, he will probably finish first all time in total yards and second in Touchdown passes.

This is an average single game Brees stat line as a Saint:
C A C% YDS TD INT QBR
27 40 68% 307 2.2 0.96 99

A most deserving first ballot HOFer.

Pretty sure he led the league in passing yards and was Top 5-7 in most relevant categories this year

But he's washed up

Meh, considering QB numbers are up across the board it isn't as special.
Still he has had a damn good run and will be a first ballot HoF when all is said and done.

If Roman Harper could have covered Vernon Davis at SF in the playoffs, he wins two Super Bowls.

The frick? What does that have to do with leading the league? If anything it's more impressive that he's led the league in so much while others are putting up big numbers.

Him or Favre should have been MVP in 09. Peyton winning that year was a fricking joke.

Brees has had a great run, but 2006-2011 was something special. Since then, he's been good but he rarely gets into that rhythm where you know from the first play of the drive that they're gonna score a TD.

Another thread of Saints fans seeking validation that we think their qb is great?

Damn y'all are an insecure bunch.

You're either trying too hard to troll, or you're not very knowledgeable about the NFL HOF......

Brees is an all-time great that unfortunately got a bit overshadowed by Brady and Manning.
