My source just told me the NFL has rejected NFL PA request for Goodell to recuse himself from deflategate scandal

No. Chicken-shite businesspeople always release stuff they don't want people to talk about the hour before everybody leaves for an extended weekend.

It gets buried in the news cycle and the outrage dies out.

NFLPA has no one to blame but themselves.

The 2011 collective bargaining agreement stated this is how the appeals would work. The players agreed to it. Stop complaining about a process to which you agreed.
