Jason Collins was absolute puke garbage in his prime, let alone at 35...with this move the Nets will go from having their doors blown off in the 1st round to having their doors blown off in the 1st round. Great signing, great effort.

Watch the media circus getting ready to follow the Nets around and multiply that by 10 for whatever team signs Michael Sam

Glad we are in a new age but damn I'm tired of watching coverage on this shite. I just want to watch Sportscenter I give two shits about a washed up center who averaged 3 pts in his career being signed to a 10-year contract.

Real progress will be when this isn't news.

I kige this.

Of course, we're already most of the way there. The majority of players don't care and the majority of fans don't care. So BSPN is behind the times.

"@World_Wide_Wob: Jason Collins enters the game for the Nets ... and coincidentally, they leave the back door open on Defense on first play.

Does the nba not have restrictions on numbers? Thought you could only have the numbers 0-5 on your jersey?

He's right. Each digit can only be 0-5. Thus, 55 is Ok, but 6 is not.

There is an exorbitant exception fee. Rodman paid it, just to be weird. Apparently so did this guy.

Ok I googled it. NBA abandoned the rule in 2000, citing the influx of international players.

Amateur leagues still have the rule.
