Don't like it. More a fan of the Camden Yards type retro ballpark. This looks like more Cincinnati, Great American Ball Park.

Me too, but still think the entire plaza area and stuff looks beautiful.

I am confused, is that a pool? Like that fans can swim in?

Only issue is that the idiots in Cobb County didn't make sure to put the mixed-use requirement in the contract. In theory, the Braves could only develop the stadium and use the rest as parking lots.

I am assuming it will have fountains in it. They wanted water to be a part of the complex. Not a swimming pool.

Read the article, it is in the Braves best interest to cram as much commercial/retail things in there as possible. They get revenue and it is pretty much the primary reason they are moving to the location along with being closer to fans.

I was just looking again and is the third pic down showing a parking deck underneath the water and all?

I still think this parking garage underneath the complex is a big deal.

Not exactly a selling point IMO...I'm down with the rest of the design but the last thing I want to do when leaving a ball game
is battling my way out of a parking deck...hopefully they'll have multiple exits going in different directions. (highly doubtful if
underground)

This is a certainty.

I think they are following the Atlantic Station approach, but they already said they are addressing multiple traffic scenarios. It can't be worse than Turner.

Not to mention many will park across at the Galleria and walk.

Lets hope thats the case...rest of the place looks pretty awesome.

Parking @ Turner's not too bad if you know the correct shortcuts to get in and out of there
