Who starts tonight?

Hate to treat it as a throw away game. But getting another day of rest for Fried and Anderson is the right call.

Wright with the shortest leash of all time. He has no mental fortitude but if he starts well might be able to go one time through the lineup.

Looking to 2021, Pache appears to be ready for the Bigs. He, along with Duval and Acuna is a dominant outfield.
And I think Riley has locked down 3rd, as well.

Do you bring up Contreras or keep him in AAA for more at bats? Seems like Flowers is about done.

The great thing for the Braves is that the Dodgers have to play the next two games like there’s no tomorrow. They have to pitch relief studs even if they’re trailing.

put wright on a short leash and i mean real short. use bullpen. not sure how much ynoa could go but we could use him tonight. snit fricked up leaving him in last game when it shoulda been tomlin or the peanut vendor.

go for the kill shot tonight. it is there for the taking. knock carrot top out early. when we start rolling they cannoy stop us. get to their pen early and burn through their pen.

as soon as he gives up a run and has anyone on base yank him. that is how short the leash needs to be. keep this game close so our offense can get rolling and pull it off.

Wright is your only option at this point. Would have preferred Ynoa, but he was burned in Game 3.

Hope he can maybe get you through the lineup once. Catch lightning in a bottle. Just know he is not even an average MLB pitcher so to leave him out there very long is a mistake.

Our only options look like Kyle Wright or Josh Tomlin, right?

I say you start Wright and see how it goes. You hope he can get you 4 or 5 innings today.

You want to go for the kill today but.... Snit will pitch what he needs to do in order to get through 9 innings tonight. We would all rather win tonight so that Fried can start Game 1 of the World Series, but.... we have to get there 1st.

shite after his last outing..if he can give me 3 i will take it then bullpen rest of way. switch up pitchers often to keep dodgers off balance. cannot let them explode like game 3.

I think they’ll have to bring up Waters at some point to platoon with Duvall. I think Waters is gonna be a great player in his own right

I like Contreras and Langeliers. That’s probably our catcher duo of the future for sure. As Flowers is getting older and TDA is only signed through next year I believe

And hope that Wright or Wilson can prove to be serviceable next year with Soroka, Fried, and Anderson. Trade for a middle of the rotation starter and sign Ozuna. Shortest off season ever.

It has to be Wright. He was good in his final few starts before Wednesday, so hopefully he can get you 3-4 innings. I suppose Tomlin is another option but he didn’t exactly pitch well in his one appearance. Would’ve been nice maybe to have Greene open up and try to give you two innings, but he has pitched the last two days (Snit has been (mostly) great this postseason but I don’t know why he threw him late in game 3). I guess Matzek could do it.

Not sure if he's available. He threw 92 pitches on Wednesday.

I think Wright has to give you 4 innings of good pitching to clinch tonight

I said this last night in the game thread but has a team ever started a game with 2 pitchers warm? I think we may need to go that route and I'm barely kidding.

I like Wright starting tonight.

Pressure is less, just go out there and see if you've got good stuff. I think rolling the dice there is the best bet you've got to end this tonight.

We going to see Webb tonight?

I think you start Wright as well. He showed good things last outing, got squeezed on a couple pitches and some frickery and then the wheels came off.

Hopefully he can go out and give 3-4 innings, limit the damage and see if Braves offense stays hot

Trading Duvall this offseason should at least be considered. His value will never be higher.
