John Lynch was more intimidating and I absolutely loved watching him knock the dog shite out of people, but Brian Dawkins was a complete player and dominant in every facet of the game.

They were both pretty bad dudes, but Dawkins was a better safety, and I loved watching Lynch play.

I'm not sure one way or the other they were both 9x Pro Bowlers, but as a Saints fan I hated playing against Lynch.

Lynch played his role extremely well in Kiffin's defense, but Dawkins was probably a better all-around player.

Interesting note (at least to me)about John Lynch.
His jersey is in Cooperstown. He threw the very first pitch for the Florida Marlins orgnaization.Can't remember the team but his roomate was Edgar Renteria.
Lynch was actully drafted higher by MLB(2nd round) than the NFL(3rd round).
