One would think they would have won the La. 2A title with that group? What are they teaching over there in Hammond?

I'm skeptical, as well. Surely one of the stud national high schools had 5 players in the NFL.

That's pretty sad considering Baton Rouge is the capital city of the state which yields the most NFL players per capita.

Catholic has had 7 I believe which is in fact top 10 nationally I want to say.

St. Aug had 7 on this list as well. You can put both Catholic and St. Aug at 8 in the next few years barring injury to Fournette and Guice.

Sounds like a rumor started at a Bears pancake breakfast extravaganza.

Kelvin York went to Utah. I don't think he ever made it to the NFL.

York went to a CC in CA, signed twice with USCw, could not get qualified either time. What a waste.

All he needed was Saban to help him get eligible.

Catholic did indeed have the most NFL players in the country, I believe. It's not like they had 12. I think it was 5, which would still be the 2nd most now. Brandon Harrison, Donnie Jones, Warrick Dunn, Chris Williams, and Travis Minor all played in 2008.

He ended playing at Utah and he also received a bachelors degree. Not exactly a waste.
