Come on man! Do you even weather channel dude? It's bad enough that you scheduled a baseball tournament at a park with NO parking infrastructure or access while a statewide soccer tournament but why not call the rainout mid morning based on the radar?

Gotta collect as much gate as possible before the rain gets here!

My wife is still stuck in the parking lot. Started trying to leave at 1:30. That's 100% accurate. She has moved 30 yards in 2 hours and 13 minutes.

Chapappeela Park in Hammond.

I heard they had baseball tournaments, soccer tournaments, and a book fair or something going on in the gym. One way in, one way out.

People need to be fired for that level of incompetence in engineering and planning.

Haha, I was umpiring out there and left when they announced the "extended weather delay." I knew those assclowns weren't going to be able to play anymore today. And guess what, they just cancelled all of today's games.

One side of the parking lot was able to leave, my wife was blocked in on the other side that was gridlocked. She said the same two cars were behind her for an hour. It's not like they were moving either.

Update, she just got out of the park.

Yep, people were trying to come into the park on the normal right side and at the same time people were trying to back out of spots and u turn around so they could get going in the direction where everyone was leaving. It took me about 45 minutes to get to I 12, but I beat the majority of people who waited in the park longer to see what would happen.

Played in a state tournament there one time in the aftermath of a hurricane. Absolute joke, mud over your ankles. They played the entire tournament.

As posted earlier, it's all about getting that gate knowing there is a 100 % chance of a washout for the tournament. They did the same thing to the kids at Vatican (Carencro/Mizuno Baseball). People can send out all the emails they want it won't do a damn bit of good. The tourney directors/park directors/USSSA are all no goods.
