He should have just blamed his environment. Blame southern culture and how growing up these types of inappropriate jokes were common place in private conversations, and he knows now how hurtful these "jokes" are and wants to learn how to become a better person.

I mean I’m pretty sure he thought he was close with this girl. I’d imagine if you took private one on one conversations between white people, black people, Asian people, Hispanic people whoever you’d get some unbelievably fricked up sounding shite.
I worked at a state park with a bunch of black and Hispanic guys as a teenager in high school. Between work and hanging out after we probably spent 60 hours a week together. We were all really tight and really good friends but we would rag the shite out of each other in a manner that would absolutely flabbergast Twitter. Doesn’t mean there wasn’t a ton of mutual love and respect and the constant shut talking actually created a tremendous sense of friendship.
Or maybe he’s just a racist POS. Who knows. But I’d imagine the thousands of people who will soon be canceling him have all said unbelievably shitty things as well.

Yeah this will be over with pretty soon. Better really trust your circle of friends. Might want to record any movies you like that contain that sort of banter cause they'll probably be on some kind of banned list here shortly.
