This guy is suck a hack. I've lost all respect for this lying prick. He's lucky Peyton fell into his lap which allowed him to finally win a Super Bowl.

This is one of those things you say to sound smart and then you realize it actually makes you look worse than before.

Maybe he's just having some memory regression? This is the time to make sure he gets checked out, being in his mid-70s.

He had a 1st round grade on Jerry Hughes and indeed drafted him in the 1st round - just seven starts, four sacks and 51 tackles in three seasons.

But but but...Polian drafted Manning, what a genius!

Tony Ugoh, 42nd, 2007 - Colts gave a 1st rounder for him.

But did Marvin Harrison moon, but not really moon, people on the football field? I think not. Therefore your argument is invalid.

Brady was at Michigan for like 5 years.

In his first 3 years...he didn't play at all. Underclassmen were starting over him even when he was a junior.

His senior year, Brady finally wins the starting job.

His stats were 214 completed passes on 350 attempts for 2636 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Yeah...one year of film with those stats and he's a 1st rounder?

Give me a break, what a liar.

Russillo and Kanell did that bit about drafting former players who were now ESPN analysts and Polian totally fricked that up too

He did sort of backtrack right after that answer though.

quote:

SI: You had a first-round grade on Brady? What did you like so much about him?

BP: Brady was less of a slam-dunk, of course. Less of a known commodity than Peyton was. But he had such a great last half of his last season [at Michigan], and fought Drew Henson for the starter's job, and he really came on. I don't remember where we ultimately put him, but it was certainly a very high grade. We weren't in the quarterback business, and it wasn't going to be an issue for us, but it was a very high grade.
