People/reporters need to keep popping him with this question at every presser and public appearance he does for at least 3 years

1) Gordon tested positive Enforce the laws. he doesn't get a break because Goddell screwed up with Ray Rice. Godell should be ashamed of what Ray Rice and the message he is sending.

and I have always been a Ray Rice guy because he played down the road at the Rut.

Donald jones was suspended INDEFINITELY for tweeting the following:

"OMG"

"Horrible"

He was also fined and sent to sensitivity training.

So Goodell can take his bullshite story that they're navigating new waters (they're not) and shove it up his arse

Goodell is a liar and a fraud.

His "leadership" will eventually ruin the NFL

Forgive my ignorance, but why is the media making such a big deal about this case? I'm not trying to downplay what rice did, but I'm pretty sure this is not the first domestic violence case in the NFL. I haven't followed this case closely, so I guess I'm wondering why it's getting more attention and backlash than other cases similar to it.

I think it's because the video. No video and this story is not nearly as hyped IMO.

Okay I didn't even know there was a video. I figured it was something like that or a picture of his wife after she got hit

IS ruining the NFL

People think goodell stepped in and started making shite happen. Tags made the NFL what it is today...Tagliabue is the reason the NFL makes 9 billion a year...Goodell just wants to put his mark on it, and he's ruining it

I haven't given one shite about the NFL this offseason until this week. Every year, my excitement has lessened. He is fricking it up royally, but will be given credit for Tagliabue's work.

Ray Rice suspension is light based on previou suspensions.... Hell Big Ben was only accused of rape and had what 8 games?

while this makes bountygate stink worse, I think the real issue is that he just suspended some guy indefinitely for saying "omg" "horrible"

again, like the NBA, the message is clear

words are worse than actual violence

I don't think the NFL hates the Saints.

I think it's obvious that Goodell made an example of the Saints in response to impending concussion lawsuits as his way of making "player safety" of paramount importance in the public eye.

This would make more sense if he wasn't not-so-subtly pushing for an 18-game schedule, but whatever.

I think most people have an issue with Ray Rice getting two games for knocking the shite out of his fiancee on video, while other minor transgressions are getting treated much more harshly.

If your original post was just an attempt to rustle Saints jimmies, then ignore all this and carry on.

yeah, and I would be pissed if he did it to any team. It was just so disingenuous. All along claiming they treat everyone equally

just like Donald Jones...indefinite suspension, while ray "knock a bitch out" rice gets 2 games

now he has the audacity to say they have no previous basis for this situation...yeah right

He's such a slimy weasel and a terrible commissioner. Slowly but surely we're all coming down from the peak. You won't notice it until it's happened.
