Using the heat team that won the championship, who would win in a 7 game series and why?

I'd take the '13 Heat over the 2017 Warriors. Barely. That Heat team was adroit at using their length/athleticism to swarm on defense.
But I'd take the 2016 and 2015 Warriors over the 2013 Heat, I think.
Idk, I'd have to think about it some more.

Well, the Cavs beat the Warriors last year. Is that Cavs team better than the Heat were? I'm not sure they are...

I don't think they are, either, actually. I think we'd be singing a different tune if not for the huge role injuries played in the last two finals. Makes the comparisons kinda murky.

Those heat teams were better and this warriors team is better

The 2017 Warriors are on pace to have the highest SRS of all-time better than the '96 Bulls and '72 Lakers and '71 Bucks and the '15 and '16 Warriors. There has never been a team as talented as the 2017 Warriors. There have been a few duos who were better than Durant-Curry such as Bron-Wade and Shaq-Kobe but none of them had a supporting cast as talented as what Durant and Curry have around them. Thompson and Green are top 20 players in their own right. The Warriors could have Durant or Curry or both have miserable shooting nights and still win comfortably because they still have Thompson and other really good players who can step up in their place. It's unfair how good they are.

I actually believe the 2016 Cavs are the best LeBron team to date. They were built for the playoffs, in large part due to Tristan Thompson's hustle and Kyrie Irving's "it" factor. LeBron's sheer greatness is obvious.
