Stewart/Williams/Newton followed by Tate/Foster.

Stewart averaged 5.4 per carry
Williams averaged 5.4 per carry
Newton averaged 5.6 per carry

They didn't struggle to run the football

they never struck me as a super productive rushing team.

They averaged ~150 rushing yards a game and their running back duo each averaged over 5 yards a carry. Unfortunately they only gave them a combined 19 carries on average each game.

One of those in your second quote is not like the others.

Foster/Tate, and it's not even close. Tate would be a top 5 back if he was in a system by himself.

And Dexter McCluster is a terrible running back. Not sure why he would even be brought up.

Saints have the best corps.

lol Tate has one good year with Foster wearing down defense and then you proclaim this bullshite:

Because he is/was a running back you idiot.

Depends on how you define best, but even then, that's irrelevant to the discussion nor is it true.

I'd say Matt Forte/ Michael Bush

looks good on paper, lets see how that pans out.

Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis

Hillis has had one good year and not much else to show for himself. Plus Charles is coming off the ACL injury. That tandem looks promising but again, I'll wait and see how that pans out.

Frank Gore, Kendall Marshall, Brandon Jacobs and LaMichael James all play for the 49ers.

AP is backed up by Toby Gerhart.

You've proven to be the biggest idiot to step foot on the MSB. That's saying something. I guess I'll bite though.

Foster only had 100 more carries than Tate. WOW he sure wore down them defenses, let me tell ya.

Deangelo Williams is so awesome that he can't even get as many carries as Tate... as a RB1

And he was mentioned in a Best tandem in the NFL thread

The reason the Texans can and will do well with Walter as the No. 2 WR.

Oh and I always enjoy reading your posts, they are usually unbiased and have good information in them, while not jumping to conclusions.
