We have LSU who is known for having an elite defense and a abysmal offense. We have the Saints who have the exact opposite problem.

I just boggles my mind. Both teams have had enough talent to win it all several times and just blatantly underperform.

From probably 2006-2011 I fully expected each team to win every game. Saints won the SB in 09, and LSU played for it all in 2011. Now I just hope the games are close, and we don't get blown out...

Don't get your joy and sorrow from games and it won't be so tough.

LSU has a good defense this year? Someone should have told State and their 3 star triple option QB who is the best player to ever come out of Richmond Hill GA (represent)

Even though this was tongue in cheek he is right. You don't get to pick, but going through shite makes you appreciate the best.

In a odd way I think any young bama fans are fricked in expectations. You always need balance.

I'm already done. My best friend/my dad passed away in January. He was my football watching buddy. Every game we watched together.I tryto watch them but can't , depression sets in. Then I read the game threads and I think my time should be with family. My kids enjoy me more now that im not kicking puppies out of anger.

Identification

We, when refering to a team.

Guarantees pain of loss and sorrow, and a soupcon of anger.

This OP sounds whiny as hell and like he is 16 years old. FlyASU is right. The hallman, archer, dinardo years made the saban and early Miles years awesome. Pretty much every saints season but a handful made the super bowl season so amazing. We've been pretty spoiled for awhile and these things tend to cycle.

Seriously man, STFU.. as Louisiana football fans, we had a great run and most fans took that shite for granted.. It had to come to an end eventually, and here we are... looking back, I wouldn't trade the elite run we had for anything.

So in the grand scheme of things, a bad year or three ain't so bad.. at least we aren't ole miss and Cleveland fans

I think what I'm getting at is that you sound like an entitled little girl

Dear God. Do people really need death to have perspective that a football game isn't all that important.

But what's worse is those that can't separate the two and still be passionate about a football game as well.

The 6 for the saints won't hit this year. They are looking at 5 max once the Payton-Brees farewell tour is in full effect.
