That was a fluke year. He hadn't repeated that level of consistency before or since then

Baylor with art briles was one extended fluke. I don't know why you expect them to get a good coach.

Extended fluke? Other than UT being down and A&M going to SEC, what is flukey about Baylor and Art Briles. There was a noticeable improvement in the program not to mention the new facilities. What Grobe did at WF is night and day what Briles did for Baylor

Yeah but it's not like their programs in Big 12 and Texas just shite the bed as well. TCu has been formidable as of late and Houston is in the mix consistently. It's not like Briles gets to choose his athletes in the state with UT down. He's had to work despite the hole in Austin
