Portland is finalizing a trade to send Nic Batum to Charlotte for Noah Vonleh and Gerald Henderson, league sources tell Yahoo.

Not sure I like this for Portland. I know Batum had a bit of a down year, but still.

Aldridge is gone. They are planning for life after LaMarcus.

What is Portland thinking?

Most likely gonna lose Aldridge to free agency, and a good chance you will lose Matthews as well. Or pay hi top $$$ coming off an achilles injury.

And now you trade Batum for Gerald Henderon and Vonleh?

Horrible plan then.

Without Aldridge, you would think Batum would take on a larger role on offense. Now they just dished him and didnt get that much for him.

They could lose Aldridge, Matthews, and Batum all in 1 offseason.I bet Lillard is pissed

Great get for Charlotte though.

Batum is the most overrated player in the league. Trying to open cap room

I didn't realize Batum was only 26. Damn. Definitely a head scratcher.

Know how you know when you don't watch basketball much anymore?

You have never heard of players traded and that are apparently worthy of being mentioned in the news.

Yeah, with the talent going East. Hopefully Jordan and Aldridge follow.

Charlotte is apparently trying to get Kaminsky at 9, which is a reach and strange considering they already gave up on Zeller and Vonleh. MJ is so fricking bad at his job.

I wouldn't go that far. He is overrated though. The guy always gets tons of credit when he plays well, but nobody talks about him when he's slumping. Some of that has to do with playing in Portland though.

I don't think they gave up on Vonleh, they were trying to shop that pick for a vet last year.
