Baton Rouge product Deon Simon makes NY Jets final 53!!!

Coached this kid at Glen Oaks in BR. Immature but talented back then, he made the Jets inal roster. Was signed to UCF, but tore ACL his senior year. Was a 275 DE/DT then, but ended up at NorthWestern and kept working and growing. Hit 35 reps at combine which I think tied him for the best. Listed at 6'4 332 now playing NT and doing really well. He will wear #93 this season. So proud of him!

Was excited when he signed with ucf, remember reading on here that he had a ton of potential. Glad to see things worked out for him.
