In the final analysis, a basketball team employs five quarterbacks (per se) to football's one.

You ever seen a 500 page basketball playbook?

I've seen a 400 page HIGH SCHOOL football playbook.

There you go... a counterpoint.

But I DID declare a "final analysis", so in a bit of basketball lingo you're "out of bounds".

Yeah, your one line of bullshite with no proof backing up your terrible assessment was too much for my feeble mind to handle.

i do too. basketball and soccer are way "cerebral" (who the frick uses that word) than football. that's also why they are better sports.

Not even close. However, I do agree that football is more strategic than basketball.

Correct, in definition, but I'm not sure there's much of a distinction here. In sports, you use your brain to think of a way to beat your opponent. That's strategy.

That's the critical point.

The fact that football playbooks are long and heavily scripted is evidence in support of my thesis, despite its oppositional introduction here by naysayers.
