There is no context for this yet apart from this tweet. I’m sure the story will come. But for now let the record reflect, courtesy of Craig Mish, that Barry Bonds just beat the Marlins players on a back field batting practice home run contest. All players. “Including Stanton.”

He's free to use steroids; the others aren't. Advantage: Bonds

Have you seen him lately? Doesn't look like he's juicing.

He's a comparative twig at this point
GOAT hitter

Still the true HR King...

That's not always how steroids work.
ETA: Didn't he get into cycling? That's a clean sport for the most part, correct?

Nice to know he's still juicing

Yeah I don't know enough about it. All I know is he has shrunk since his playing days.

The GOAT. 51 years old, and still pimping homers. Greatest power hitter ever.

He's the greatest baseball player ever, and no one can tell me any different.

they used blood doping for endurance
not exactly the type of explosive movements needed to hit bombs

Blood doping is just one way of enhancing performance in cycling. Many cyclist, including Armstrong, have been busting using anabolic steroids. What you train your body to do once on them is up to you.

I agree with you, but those reasons are shite.

No.

The man will never touch the Hall of Fame due to doping which is sad because he was a surefire future Hall of Famer before he started juicing.
I still consider Maris and Aaron to be the single-season and career home run leaders.
