Yeah UNC is going to go bankrupt and then all the UNC students will become janitors, garbagemen, yard workers, and line cooks in Raleigh. The UNC basketball team will cease to exist.

Probably.
UNC Grad - "Why did I major in ancient french drama!!! I can't find a job!!"
State Grad - "Sure glad I majored in engineering. I'm making 6 figures."
You guys are a damn strong liberal arts school though, and that is nothing to be ashamed of.

I would like this.
BTW Henson will get BITCHSLAPPED in the pros. SERIOUS. Just sayin. And if Barnes doesn't grow a spine, he may as well.

Wouldn't be the first UNC player this has happened to. When I think of Henson I think of Ed Davis and Brandan Wright who are definitely NBA players that get some time, but are clearly not starters or All-Stars. Barnes is something else entirely, probably not going to set the world on fire but maybe has some other tricks up his sleeve than what we've seen.

As a Duke fan, I'm thinking NC State has to be the favorite in the ACC next year. Duke really needs to get Jefferson over State.

I still think Duke and UNC have a mental edge on everyone. Its still DUKE and North Carolina. UNC still has talent and so does Duke. If NC State was like a 5 seed this year i may be a little more inclined to worry about them.

Their seed has nothing to do with next season. Even biased UNC and Duke fans know that State will be pretty damn good going into next season. Look at teams like Indiana, Murray State, Marquette, Wichita State. They sure did have good seeds in the tournament last year right? I see State having a similar season to this year's Marquette. Get all the key veterans back and add some quality freshman, except Marquette didn't have nearly the recruiting class State did.

i agree, i think Henson will be a career role player and so will barnes unless he improves tremendously. i honestly never saw what all the hype was about. he had one great game against clemson and made some clutch shots but has never proven to be an elite defender, good passer or handler or rebounder
as for next year's ACC, lets wait until we see where amile, JMM, oriakhi end up before making predictions

Barnes = A poor man's Allan Houston
Henson = A better version of Brandon Wright
Marshall = Poor man's Mark Jackson?

Well lets just say that State doesn't have a Kentucky type roster prior to this incoming class. Its not even close that their roster is significantly less talented than Kentucky's was going into 2011-12 as they go into 2012-13. So a 5 seed to me would indicate they have good players currently on their roster, good enough to where you add some talented freshman then they are head and shoulders the team to beat in the ACC next year. They will not have the depth, and Gottfried isn't exactly Coach K or Roy Williams if you know what i mean.

And it just hit me that this is the 3rd like pack of UNC players in the last 10 years to leave early for the draft along with some graduating seniors.
2005-May, Felton, McCants, Williams
2009-Hansbrough, Ellington, Lawson, Danny Green
2012-Henson, Marshall, Zeller, Barnes
Which one stands out?

some "insiders" on IC premium are saying JMM is gone too

That's fine haha, he really doesn't deserve the love that Marshall, Barnes, and Henson do. He seemed lazy for pretty much the entire season until the NCAA tourney. Glad he played hard in the tourney, but good riddance for the rest of the season.
Marvin Williams part 2, and not nearly as good in the tourney.

early in the season he spent a lot of time at fraternity houses and bars, once he layed off the booze his play improved, but the day after the loss he was out partying again, always seemed like a kid who was looking forward to the NBA lifestyle

That's exactly what my friend who is at UNC right now told me. Good riddance what a waste of talent, but I guess he's not the first, nor will he be the last to submit to such stupid shite.

yeah i'm at UNC right now and saw him out all the time, actually got to know him on a face recognition head nod basis (haha, i know) he's a good guy but you'd hope for more of a work ethic from someone playing bball at UNC

I can tell you with a great deal of confidence that unless McAdoo starts working hard and pays his dues at some point in his life, he will feel a void. These morons can't get away with it forever. As far as I can tell even Lebron James has to work his arse off to play at the level he does.

the frustrating things is that it looks like we'll have 5 players go in the 1st round and not even have a final 4 to show for it, kinda pathetic

You see all the venom on IC? Marshall was apparently catching heat on twitter. I was following him but now I am not . They seriously left on the worst terms.

IC is just going nuts and falling apart! I have zero problem with Roy Williams, but they are destroying his arse.
