That is great; Chuck is the man.

Chuck was so fun to watch. He'd be even more fun to watch today with the higher game pace. His rebound stats would be ridiculous.

I guess they weren't consider a total jump shooting team because of Dirk. To me they were a little more balanced.

How many greats from that era don't have a title or eeked one out in one of their final years

Jordan...I only appreciate his dominance more as time goes on.

The vast majority of Dirk's shots in those playoffs were his lean back jumpers from the right side high post. Its technically post play but he's still shooting jump shots. A crazy effective jump shot yes, but still a jump shot.

When Chuck is referring to jump shooting teams he is referring to teams that shoot a huge amount of 3s and long 2s. Dirks 10-15 foot fade away js are different.

not really, a jumper is a jumper.

also, after Dirk working the high post pretty much everyone on that team was there to snipe 3s once he got doubled. There were some Tyson dunks and Marion layups here and there (mostly when JJ Barea was in b/c he was really the only guard that could drive w/consistency) but that team was almost all jump shooters.

He speaks his mind. I don't agree with everything he's saying, but I can respect that he's willing to talk.

Barkley was/is 6'5" being generous and he was able to make both Mel Turpin and Sam Bowie his bitches back in the day.

It was awesome and fun being a student at Auburn back then, watching Bo and Brent running the ball and Chuck and Chuck shooting hoops.

loving all these down votes for accurately describing the Mavs offense of 2011.

The only thing that sucks is, he's only allowed to get away with it because he is black. You will never see a white analyst as outspoken as he is. Having said that, I love Charles, and his ability to speak his mind. Its honest, blunt, refreshing, etc..
