So what you're saying is that I bama's opponents do bad it doesn't hurt their computer scores? Nonsense.
which ones do you think is going to hurt Bama?
Penn State-yes
Arkansas?-conference game, leaves no effect
Florida? Hurts LSU just as much
Auburn, State, Ole Miss? Conference games, they all wash out.
Tennessee? Slightly and that only counts if Bama didnt play UK as well.

lost this weekend

FWIW, Tulsa got hammered, and Arizona and La-Lafayette played each other to discuss OK State's opponents records. I am assuming all their Big 12 opponents played each other and offset each other.

OSU as of last week was #6 in harris and coaches poll. While bama is #2 in both.

Looks like VaTech and Stanford will be #3,#4 in human polls and OSU #5 with the Arkansas loss.

OSU will not get in being ranked #5 in the human polls and #2 in computer polls.

if one voter leaves Baa off their final ballot to manipulate the final polls, it gives the effect of instantly dropping Bama by a very signifigant margin. I expect 2-3 jackasses to do something along these lines.

With a good enough win over OU then voters could reasonably move OSU ahead of Stanford.

With a loss in the ACCCG then OSU could move ahead of VT.

I expect OSU to jump Stanford in the polls with a win over OU. VT is a little trickier since they play also next weekend, will be another conference champ, and will be coming off a win over a pretty good Clemson team. I think they lose though. Clemson already kicked their arse once this season

VT has gone on a roll since and Clemson is reeling badly with 2 straight losses.

Stanford isn't looking that impressive right now despite the score of the game.

It's still a big leap going from #5 all the way to stealing some 2nd place votes. They would need an impressive win, and VT to definitely lose just to be considered #3.

I keep on hearing the media saying Bama is in, but who knows how it will turn out that final week when the coaches and voters have to put down their final votes.

yes this is true

but Va Tech will prevent OSU from passing Bama in the BCS IMO. Assuming they win OSU probably has almost no shot of passing Bama in teh overall BCS

If Va Tech loses? It will be very close and the talking heads will have a field day

I didn't forget stanford but va tech would be a conference champ

Va Tech in there is one too many teams for Ok State to have a real chance of making up enough ground in the human opinion polls
