They only have to be three rounds apart. Maybe even two. Always been that way.

I picked Dayton. Can't trust Ohio State and don't want to be overly disappointed when they inevitably lose.

So you won't pick them to win one game because they'll probably lose the second round orr..?

eta-
I just pose these questions to make you think... these picks shouldn't be based on emotions.

Think of it like this.

Scenario 1 Dayton wins: I am upset my favorite team lost, but I got something out of it.

Scenario 2 OSU Wins: I'm pleasantly surprised. Bracket busts, but I have one team to watch again.

Scenario 3: I Pick OSU and Dayton Wins: Well then nothing good comes from this.

Emotions have no business in March.

Picked Dayton, but still might change that.

I'm very tempted to do that same.

Would be sweet, but sweet Jesus that's highly unlikely.

Bo Ryan has only made it past the sweet 16 once in his 12 tournament appearances. His style of play just simply doesn't work in the tournament.

Have you watched them this year?

Of course I have. FK is a beast and I am a big Sam Decker fan. In fact this is probably one of Bo's top 3 teams he has had since he has been in Madison. I just think his history in the tournament speaks for itself.

I ask because they didnt run the typical slow it down and slug it down offense they usually do. This years team looked more Beilein than Bo.

Fair enough. I will agree that Bo has done a nice job this year of adjusting to the pieces he has, but I still won't break my "never pick Wisconsin past the sweet 16" rule.

Billy Donovan only made one Elite8 run before 2006 too… Just saying.

I say to everyone I know and they still pick Wiscy. When was that one time, 1999?
