For Atlanta Hawks fan Ben McCleskey, his 393rd Tinder match was the lucky charm.

Two years later, not only is McCleskey marrying the woman he matched with, Avery Armstrong, but Hawks CEO Steve Koonin is going to foot the bill, too.

In 2015, McCleskey met Armstrong at the team's "Swipe Right Night."

The couple returned a year later for "Swipe Night 2.0," where, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, they sat in Harry's Love Nest.

That's when Koonin connected with the couple and said, "If they get married, the Hawks would be happy to host the wedding."

One year later, McCleskey popped the question, and Armstrong said yes.

I don't know exactly. Went to the Grizz/Hawks game in 2014 on swipe right night (with my now wife, not for the sake of Tinder) and I'm pretty sure there was like a Tinder meetup point in the stands. I could be completely wrong though. it was actually pretty funny the promos they had on the jumbo tron.

Slippery slope

Paying for the good? Gotta pay for the bad, too.

So instead of watching the game, you watch your phone and rate girls on their hotness (and bios, I guess) and then when you match, you leave your seat to meet them?

I mean, if it works and you get with someone, great, but I'd much rather go to a sports game to watch, you know, and this sounds odd, the game.

But I'm an old fuddy duddy.

You get a date FOR the game. Not at the game. I can't imagine sitting in the student section at an Auburn game looking for a date. I had too much fun watching the game.

And then professional sports cost quite a bit of money to go and look for a date. Just seems strange to me...to look for strange.....at the game.
