What needs to happen to let them have the same success that they had in the 90s through the early 00s?
I for one wish they fired Fredi after last year and got Joe Maddon

Time. Better drafting.

We have some great young arms to build around. The key will be filling out a serviceable lineup card everyday. It won't be next year but we are on the right track.

This. And spending more in international players. They seem to be doing all of that with the new crew running things.

Clean out the front office and current management.

Regardless I am really enjoying just how much they suck now.

Need to find 4 future HOFers (Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper) to build our team around.

If you know of any, PM me plz.

Drafting, development in the farm system, and patience.

Hire either the right hand man of Luhnow or Mozeliak.

Both have shown they know what they are doing when it comes to drafting value and signing international players.

#FireFredi

That team was stacked. Not sure we will ever have the talent that team did. Give it a few years and we should be back.

Some franchises go half a century or longer without the success the Braves had in the 90s to mid-late 2000's.

So I think the first step is realizing it's very difficult to accomplish. The next step is having some patience because it's not happening until 2017 at the earliest

You act like that's the norm and it's just as simple as making a few moves and poof, you get another aberration.

I guess one thing that you can hope to have happen is that the nats move back to montreal and become penny pinchers.

It's not Fredi.

The Braves needed to overhaul their lineup and pitching staff. They did that.

They acquired a ton of young, cheap players that should move them forward in just a few years.

Its doubtful that any franchise has that type of run ever again. Might as well accept that first

Find a good young pitcher, outfielder, and catcher to build your team around and not trade them, oh wait...

You mean to have the best team in baseball for about 10 years and only win one world series?

No thanks. Lets aim higher. That stretch was very very disappointing.
