I like the fact that we're giving Fried and especially Lopez and Sale and extra day of rest (managing those two innings to keep them fresh and healthy for the rest of the season became a whole lot more important with Strider going down), but... frick man... Elder's last two starts in Gwinnett have looked a lot like how he looked in the spring.

It seems like this has mostly stopped since he got on a tear last season and found his stroke again, but yeah, if I was an opposing pitcher, I'd throw at him every time he did it.
