When the score is 35-0 and the Bucs haven't converted a first down yet.

Crappy boring non-sec defensive struggles.

And two defenses doing their best to get out of the way. When you remove half of the sport from the game, it becomes uninteresting.

14-0 is still pretty good
21-0 you might start scrambling for a remote
28-0 change the channel
35-0 insult the losing team and then go back to what you're watching
42-0/49-0 check how much time is left and guess the final score
56-0 holy crap, will they break 60?

i'd bump all of those up a few points in the HUNH era...

It still is.

Anyway, I didn't have a rooting interest last night, and it was a massive blowout, of course it became boring. If the Cowboys were winning I'd have stayed interested

it was wide open receivers and inept tackling, a lot wrong with that.

It was elite receivers making big plays in big moments and executing their offensive game plans to perfection.

The Super Bowl was the most-boring game in recent memory.

I turned it off before the end of the 2nd quarter, and never checked back.

Luckily I was able to switch to the Auburn game. If no other football on, I would have probably watched. But I would have been bored with it

See, even the Auburn game became boring once it was apparent that K-State was determined to simply throw the game away.

That's how I felt about Baylor-WVU a couple of years ago. The announcers were jizzing all over themselves about how "exciting" the game was, but I frankly found it unwatchable and an embarrassment to the sport. Final score was 117-109, I believe.

a lot of people felt the same way about 9-6
