Astros fans...great series vs Royals

Hell of a series as always 
I really don't mean this to be a patronizing post, and I hope you don't take it that way. Y'all are a very good team, and I hope y'all will see past the start y'all have had and understand that you are in store for a great season. I understand the frustration some might have, but you have to consider that you have played a tough schedule and a 4 game series vs the World Champs on top of that is a tough way to start the season.
Again, I don't mean that as a douchey comment that the Royals are the "World Champs". It's just the fact that they are a good team and the Stros had a tough matchup there.
Fun series as always between these 2 teams (y'all play us tough as anyone besides Toronto), and I'll look forward to seeing y'all in the playoffs this October

Damn you're the nicest Royals fan of all time by far. Good series to yall. Yeah it's frustrating being 3-7 to start the season, but it's only 10 games. Well turn it around sooner or later.

Exactly. Y'all will be just fine. A baseball season is long as frick and 10-20 games doesn't make or break a season.
Trust me, from the Royals perspective we dread playing y'all and hopefully we don't have to play you all anymore after the series in KC. Y'all are scary as hell with the youth and talent you have. Don't let one series that didn't break your way discourage you. The Royals know we were fortunate (but also good...it takes both!).

2 years ago, I never thought the Royals would make the playoffs. Fast forward to present day, and the Royals have been to 2 consecutive World Series and won one of them!
Point being, the Astros are in great shape. Y'all were one of the elite just 10 years ago. And y'all are on the early edge of doing it again. Honestly, your offense is already WS champion caliber. You need maybe 1 starter and a shutdown bullpen guy and I could definitely be confident predicting an Astros WS championship.
The Astros now are where the Royals were just 2 years ago. The best is yet to come for the Astros, and its incredibly obvious. It's Houston, KC, and Toronto this year in the AL. Best of luck

I just wonder if the Astros pitching holds up. For a team with 3 #5 starters in the rotation, they sure were generous in trading young starting pitching.

One aspect that you never hear the media mention or even GMs is the disparity in the quality of the 2 leagues. 5 NL teams aren't even trying and another 2 or 3 are just awful. That leads to inflated win totals and player stats.
And it's going to be really big this season.
GMs need to discount NL stats when evaluating talent.

I apologize on his behalf. Every fanbase has their share of jackasses so I hope you don't let him be the representative of our fanbase as a whole. We're a long downtrodden fanbase that is finally learning how to enjoy some success so naturally there are some who will take it too far. Overall I'd like to think we are a humble and friendly fanbase so please don't let one person from our fanbase influence your perception of us

Reds, Phillies, Rockies, Brewers, Braves aren't even trying...in complete rebuilding mode. Far worse than any AL team. Throw SD in there too.
