Anybody see this article on ESPN yet? Artest responded to comments made by Yao Ming. Apparently the only way to truly represent the black culture is to attact an innocent fan in the stands. At least according to Artest.

quote:
"I understand what Yao said, but I'm still ghetto," Artest said, according to the report. "That's not going to change. I'm never going to change my culture. Yao has played with a lot of black players, but I don't think he's ever played with a black player that really represents his culture as much as I represent my culture. Once Yao Ming gets to know me, he'll understand what I'm about.
quote:
"If you go back to the brawl, that's a culture issue right there," Artest added, according to the report. "Somebody was disrespecting me, so he's got to understand where I'm coming from. People that know me know that Ron Artest never changed."

Dude is f'ing dumb
Maybe that is his culture but nothing gives him the right to associate all black people as living that "culture" I don't see why he is happy about repping that lifestyle. I guess he feels that as a good thing. What a dumb f**k. Over glorifying piece of shite.

Maybe so, but it's a team game, and Houston is the better team.. Paul is a bitch anyway.

I actually think he is more insane than dumb. Everytime I see him in an interview, I always get the thought in my head that the dude is off his rocker.

Well..we'll find out if he is a complete moron...cause he would have to be one if he messes up in a contract year.
Now next year after signing a new contract...i wouldnt trust the guy at all...even with Adelman as coach.
