Why would this be a public thing?

Because it's the offseason and ESPN needs something to talk about.

It shouldn't be but with the worldwide fanaticism of religion, panties get rustled anytime someone announces they pray to a different god or don't pray at all. Millions of people will now take this personal like he just killed a kitten in public although it does absolutely nothing to derail their personal beliefs and/or traditions. Ultimately, it just gives people the reason to bitch publicly and we are definitely a society that loves to bitch.

Edit: plus it'll draw network ratings, unfortunately

Nope, hasn't been a vegan for like 2 years now. But it's not news when you eat meat so people only remember that he didn't for awhile.

Doubt it. Foster has been labeled a deep thinker so the media loves to get his take on shite.

Honestly, I think it is pretty brave. It might turn out to be a bad move financially, and it is especially risky for a black athlete. I would guess that the percentage of atheist blacks is way lower than atheist whites. So, it will be interesting to see how this turns out. I hope people just brush this off because they don't care one way or the other, but you may see a lot of people change their opinion of him just based on this.

I played ball with a guy who played baseball at Tennessee when Foster was there. He said he's a pretty horrible person and is so fake it's almost hard to shrug it off when you're around him.

I realize that means nothing to you. But the guy I'm talking about is one of the most amazing people I've ever met, and I have absolutely no reason not to trust him. Should be irrelevant, but he's a black guy as well, fwiw.

This is the first time I've ever mentioned Foster on TD though.

He used to love Taco Bell.

Arian foster is a shitty human being/attention whore.

Look up the letter he wrote to his daughter, that he released to the press, saying he will be the greatest dad and husband(I think they were married) to her and her mom.

Then he gets caught with a baby momma within 6 months.
