First of all, I'm sure every fantasy owner is thinking, thank goodness this happened before I drafted this guy.

Second,

Houston might want to give Chris Johnson a call

I would say that CJ2K is not the answer to any question. Texans need to call Ray Rice.

McNair would rather call on Napoleon Kauffman than those guys.

My sources say Pierre Thomas is on his way to Houston. They plan to sign if all is well.

That's a name I haven't heard in a while

Very suprising. He's a good 3 down back.

Eta also your sources are Ian rapport

quote:

Free agent Pierre Thomas will work out for the Texans on Wednesday. Per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Texans hope to sign Thomas if "all is well." It's the first domino to fall following Tuesday's news that Arian Foster requires groin surgery. Thomas would be a passing-down back in a committee backfield for coach Bill O'Brien. Alfred Blue, Chris Polk and perhaps Jonathan Grimes would battle it out on early downs. Grimes is also an option in the passing game. In theory, Ray Rice's every-down skill-set would make him a better flier than Thomas, but perhaps he lost another step in 2014 following his down 2013. Rice would also come with a public relations hit.

What could Blue have done without the injuries? The dude had a Eddie George/Eric Dickerson look about him when he was healthy at LSU. I'm not saying he was as good as those guys, but his running style was reminiscent.
