No troll here. Aren't yall tired of going to the NOLA bowl? Winning 3 straight bowl game is impressive, but wouldn't yall rather go to a different bowl game?

If you're #1 in that conference, that's the bowl you go to.

I think people would be interested in going to a different bowl but going to Mobile for a Sunday night game (I think) doesn't really seem too appealing. If all else fails, you're in New Orleans for a weekend, there are worse places to be.

That was always my attitude at USM before we fell off the face of the Earth. Close by, great party city, etc. Fans will travel and honestly what's the difference in two lower tier bowls?

Not true , The Cajuns haven't one an out right title ever and only shared the title last year. As long as the Sunbelt champ has a bowl to go to The Nola bowl can take anyone from the Sunbelt it wants

after appalachian state bitch slapped them this weekend, they should be happy about going to any bowl game.

Honestly Cajun fans have been missing from this board almost the entire football season. It has been very relaxing

34-27! We'll bring you a shirt from the soon to be renamed R+L Carriers Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Bowl. Hud just loses the magic in his sleeves late in the season. Limps to the finish line, wins the NOLA Bowl and locks up a 9-4 season.

2011: 9-4 NOLA Bowl Champs
2012: 9-4 NOLA Bowl Champs
2013: 9-4 NOLA Bowl Champs
2014: 7-4 likely NOLA Bowl apperance

i think South has a shot to stay at home for the Bowl in Mobile.

we have 6 wins but... we also had 6 wins last year and sat out of the bowl season.

I think we'll probably be left out again because in order to get to 7 wins we'll have to beat Navy and I just don't see that happening. Hope by some weird stroke of luck that I'm wrong.

could be Arkansas St. coming back down here again...

There's no way Hud could lose anything in his sleeves

If we go to the NOLA bowl again this year, I wouldn't attend. Pelicans game, NOLA Bowl, and Falcons @ Saints. My wallet would get the Bill Cosby treatment.

This football season has fizzled out for me. Got our arse beat by Manny Diaz, didn't play competitive against Boise or Ole Miss. Almost got beaten by Georgia State at home. Two losses at home (rare for Hud). I could sunshine pump and say, well 7-4 is better than the super mediocre days of Bustle, but for App State and Georgia Southern to come into this shitty conference and make noise. All I can do is

I have been going to the New Orleans Bowl every year for a while now. The difference between Southern going and UL going is that Southern couldn't fill the entire lower bowl. When UL comes, I'm convinced they bring the entire city of Lafayette with them. They even pack the nosebleeds.

fricking Broadway has been Jekyll and Hyde this year. He's rarely looked like a super star, but he's had moment where he looks like a guy fully capable of game managing. And then he'll have games where he goes full ratard and struggles to complete the simplest passes.

As for the NOLA Bowl, its been good to us. We bring a good crowd and pack the dome. But since college football runs in cycles (especially for small programs) its likely that we'll see a downturn soon and have a bowl dryspell. I'd like to see the team branch out before that happens. I know the Fun Belt's tie ins mostly suck, but I'm sure the team would enjoy getting the bowl experience in different places.
