Heading there with my 2 young boys(5 years old), and I know it's not in the best area in town.

I'd rather not pay $35 for parking in the lots if possible, but I've never been there so I don't know if there are any other options or if I should just pay the $35.

Anyone have been there and can offer any advice?

Arlington is ghetto now ? Amusement parks and two stadiums?

I think you are mixing it up with the Cotton Bowl.

35 is a good rate. Your going to pay out your arse. It really sucks.

Yes, I have experienced parking at AT&T Stadium. The experience is similar to having your eyes gouged out by raccoons. If you are only paying $35 you either have a hell of a deal or you are parking behind the Rangers stadium.

Not the best area of town? What are you talking about? It is not bad at all. Enjoy the corporate monstrosity that is Jerry World. Go check out the Victoria's Secret with the kids while you are in there.

The area isn't bad at all as far as crime. It's just boring. That said you can park closer to the interstate and pay for shuttle

Went a few weeks ago & we walked from our hotel. Stayed at the Marriot Courtyard on Nolan Ryan Expressway. Less than half of a mile from the stadium. Was an easy walk with sidewalks.

If your planning on staying the night, I'd consider going this route.

There's a bar nearby with free parking and a $10 shuttle.

For WrestleMania it was 60 in the lot and 40 for a block down the road.

Uber/Lyft from your hotel & back. Will be a far better experience.

Damn, that's a lot for parking. I guess that is a bargain to LA fans.

I second TheJunction's suggestion of J Gilligans. I rode their shuttle for a game earlier this year, and it was really convenient and comparatively pretty cheap. I'll do it again next time I go.
