You know what I meant. Not literally that his fights are entertaining but that all he cares about is living a movie star life. He feeds off fame.
People just need to stop giving a shite about him so he can go away for good

People are just to emotionally involved in this wanting Manny to win

they don't realize they're just falling into his trap
mayweather figured out a long time ago no casual fan gave a frick about his greatness due to his boring style. the ONLY way he could become a superstar was to go complete heel and make the average middle class American hate him. he's been quite successful

No way. He started to show off after he won those middle rounds because he knew he didn't have to be aggressive the rest of the fight to win. Just back up, counter as Pac came in, and then spin off the ropes or tie pac up. Those last 3 Reds were horrible.
Looks at the % of punches Manny landed
He looked lost out there at times. Floyd made him fight his type of fight.

I just wanted an entertaining fight. And it was at times. But neither really hurt each other. Both had a few good power punches but pretty meh. It certainly went as most should've expected.

you just described his style
and for the record, in the 11th, floyd came out swinging and landed some solid shots on manny, so i have no clue what you're talking about
money knew by then paq was way too tired to have any sort of KO threat and he just straight up clowned him the last 2 rounds

I agree Floyd controlled the fight and deserved the win. But it wasn't entertaining.

Its the fight I expected for the most part, except I thought Manny would be way more active and would get counter punched even more.
He had to take chances to win the fight but he was way to passive.

anyone who claimed that fight was going to be entertaining either has no clue who was in that fight or was lying
any honest boxing fan will admit mayweahter is boring as fricking shite
they will try to qualify that, but they will admit it's boring

That lasted for about 15 seconds.

it was 15 better seconds of swinging and landing than manny had all night

Yeah Pac knew what was coming and avoided it well. But he needed to take risks as Man has length to make contact where Pac is whiffing. I don't know that Pac could win against Man without a knock down or two.

Probably. But a guy that fights for 30 minutes one way and switches for 15 seconds which catches the other off guard shouldn't be that surprising. And obviously it didn't do much to Pac.

Can't argue there. If you don't have any haters, you're doing it wrong.
That's not to say I think what Mayweather is doing is a complete act. He's obviously not a very good person. But a lot of what we see him say is specifically to push buttons. And he was back at it at the press conference last night because he knows he'll need to drum up interest for his last fight.

I thought it would be entertaining. But that was wishful thinking, which I guess is basically lying to yourself. I just thought Pacquiao would be the old Pacquiao, but he's clearly lost some heart. I thought he would just go for broke at some point. But that's not who he is anymore.

He doesn't GAF about reporters or anyone else. And I don't blame him, really.
He's accomplished more financially than any fighter in history. Some of that is boxing skill, but - more than anything - it's business acumen. He's a self-made hundred-millionaire. Whatever means he used to get there, I have to tip my hat to him and admire what he's achieved in one lifetime.
American dream.

If he went for broke he would have gotten knocked out. He isn't stupid, but people want him to go into the ring against a legend and act stupid.

Are you going to continue to spew garbage? I need to know so that I can avoid all future boxing threads
