Ah, so now the only bad crime is domestic abuse.

Never is tax evasion...

I mean only women shouldn't be beaten. It's okay for men to be abused! It's okay when men who oppose your views are beaten up and you're a trained fighter?

It's okay to be elected into office and serve for like four days? I mean screw the people who voted you in right? I'm sure you'd be cool with your elected officials doing that, right?

It's also okay to cheat on your wife consistently, neglect your kids and family.... right?

It's also okay to have this mafia like crowd around you who are violent in your country and leech off of your money?

It's also okay to blow millions, having gambling problems (rumors of drug issues earlier on), etc... right?

Not to mention the other rumored crap around him.

You do realize only 2, maybe 3 of these things are actually crimes, right? And that a few of them would also apply to mayweather as well, right?

It's funny. Paint this guy like a saint when he is no different that Mayweather. You guys are just mad that black rich arrogant guy doesn't know how to lose (or shut up).
what are you talking about?

You're making stupid assumptions about my thoughts, you're pretty bad at this debate thing, fwiw.

Irony is he was gracious after the fight. Manny was a sore loser. If roles were reversed you'd be bashing him for claiming he won and was injured.
I've said this on this board already, you're wrong again, do better next time, you're clueless right now.

not to mention, he claims they're worse than Floyd hitting women a bunch of times, but if you disagree, he'll say you think everything Manny did was ok. This poster is just really bad at this, basically.

The reason people dislike Floyd is because he talks a lot of crap and is arrogant and cocky.

And so people want to see him get his arse kicked to shut him up.

But he's really good, and he never gets his arse kicked. He's undefeated.

And that brings the frustration to a whole new level that this guy can continue to be a cocky a-hole but he's so good that he has never ever lost.

That frustrates the hell out of people and brings their hate to a whole new level.

That's the real reason people hate him.

The whole hitting women thing is just something people use as more ammo for the reason they hate him. But that isn't the core of it. The real reason they hate him is because he's on top of the sport and he's brash and arrogant about it. And nobody can stop him.

Meh. I hate him because he's a POS. A ton of fighters are arrogant and cocky. That doesn't make me hate them.

Even if his legal record was spotless, you'd still hate him.

You don't hate him because he's had legal trouble.

And yes, a ton of fighters are arrogant and cocky, but no current fighter has accomplished what Floyd's accomplished.

You act like his legal record is insignificant

That + he has made a career out of dodging big fights is all the ammo I need to hate a fighter.

What I've learned is that when you like someone, you like them. You can't help it. Even if that person has legal issues. People know those things are wrong, but they can look past them because they weren't personally wronged. If they like a guy, they like him.

But if people dislike a guy, they will use those legal troubles as ammo and add it to the list of "reasons" whey they don't like the guy.

You need to add more to this statement for it to really be true.

"People hate him because he's arrogant and cocky yet still undefeated" because he fights like a coward and has historically avoided fighting anyone that posed a real threat to him.

There have been plenty of boxers, even athletes/people in general, that are arrogant and cocky and very good at what they do, that are nowhere near as hated as mayweather.

Ding ding ding. Mayweather/Manny is the perfect example of this. Floyd knew he had a chance of losing to Manny in his prime in '09

Mayweather has beat a list of big names in boxing no way to deny that.

Pac 5 years ago would've been a better fight. De la Hoya 5 years prior would be been a better fight.

His biggest wins were versus fighters on the downside of their careers: Pacq, Judah, and De La Hoya. Instead of fighting Cotto, Margarito, Pacq, and Winky in their primes.

It is what it is. His MO is handpicking fights that he thinks he won't get hurt in/will quite comfortably win.
